DQS10 It Started with a Sketch........

I was so excited I made it in to this round for the Doll Quilt Swap 10. I got my partner info and the ideas began to flow! I sketched out my design and I am so pleased that it has transformed on to the fabric even better than I planned.

 I love color so I knew it had to be colorful.

 Trying something new!  I found tons of cute "quilt sayings"

This one just spoke to me.

 I had so much fun with the minis last round I knew I had to add at least one to this quilt!

Now all I need is the binding, which will be the black & white dotty print.

Kindle Covers

The hubby got me a Kindle for Christmas! Which is funny because it was not long ago I said I thought the whole e reader concept was silly!  I have since (in the last 2 weeks)  read 7 books and I can not put the thing down!  I thought I would make some cute covers to house my new Kindle and I am having lots of fun in the process! I am still perfecting my design but I think the blue is my favorite style so far!

I am in love!   This is the Joy & Bliss pallet.  I have some solids on order and

then it will become a new large wall quilt for my living room.  I can't wait!
