Wow! That's so exciting you got to be part of the book! This season i am sewing alot of theings for my little girl, everything from dresses to toys. And she's small, so everything is usually less than a yard, but i love new ideas! Thanks!
I will be doing some vinyl projects and I will be attending a lot of baby showers coming up so I will be sewing baby gifts.
Going to make a couple of purses for friends!
Congratulations on making it into a book! I've been wanting to get a copy of that particular book myself. I'll be making baby gifts this holiday season for a few babies due after the new year. I'm also doing some window treatment sewing for a friend.
Hi Meg! Congrats on being in the book!
I will be working on lots and lots of handmade gifts (fishing set, blankets, tuts, and a cape) if I am lucky enough to keep my old Singer going...
WOW Meg, how cool to be in a book. I'm trying to get all my holiday gift quilts done. That would be 3 as of now. Thanks for the opportunnity to win and happy holidays.
Congrats on the book feature! That is so cool.
I have had that book on my wishlist since it came out.
This holiday season I will be doing quite a bit of crafting - several embroidery pieces and tote bags, ornaments and jewelry boxes.

Cool book, and congrats on being in it!! This Christmas I'm working on getting rid of our cheap store-bought tree skirt and stockings, replacing them with ones I'm making myself :)

Great book please count me in the draw.
Congrats. Way to go.
This year's Christmas theme is purses. However, I'm doing a couple of blankets for the grandparents who are beyond the cute purse stage. lol. Congrats on getting included in the book! I'm definitely going to have to make a trip over to B&B to pick one up as a Christmas gift.
Looks like a great book! I'm working on various toy projects, some dresses for the girls. Maybe some aprons.....depends on how the season goes!
Wow, how exciting for you! I've seen someone else talking about the same book, it looks fabulous!
I'm working on a few Christmas quilts, easy peasy coasters, wallets, and stockings. working on...not yet completed. That's key. LOL
Well because of inspirations like YOURS I have decided this year that all of my gifts will be made from the heart. This is the first time I've ever done this, and as the holidays are nearing I am fearing that I may have taken a bite of more than I can chew!! I'm making things like scarves, a purse or two, table runners, doggie coats, aprons, the list goes on. Am I crazy?
I have so much to make....4 full sized quilts, a kindle cover, a memo board and 2 doll quilts...better get back to sewing!
I am trying to do a few table runners and oil cloth bags for teachers (using on hand stuff to save $) and I hope? to make a quilt for each of my boys!
That looks like a great book, Congrats! Let's see do far I've made 3 purses, a baby blanket, a nightgown, started a small quilt and a quilllow. I still need to finish a Christmas wall hanging, 2 bags, a snowman doorstop, a fabric basket and knitting needle roll, and a couple items of clothing. Wow that looks really bad written out. I better get back to sewing!
Let's see...sock monkeys, felt food, flower pins, napkins, nursing covers...I have a lot of work to do! All in the name of being thoughtful and thrifty! I'd love some new ideas. Maybe I'll find something to make for myself. (In January, of course!)
That's really exciting Megan! I'll be working on some doll accessories for Sadie's first CPK doll - wouldn't the carrier instructions come in helpful! Of course some ornaments and pillow shams and 2 wall quilts. Also thinking of making some reusable shopping bags to wrap gifts in.
What neat book! Congrats on being a part of it. My Christmas projects are sewing dolls for all of my nieces. I am also sewing a nursing cover and some burp cloths for my sister who is baking up another niece.
I'm going to monogram "Snuggies" (those things that everyone secretly wants but would never admit it!). I also plan to make lots of other personalized gifts...just couldn't resist the Snuggies...LOL.
First of all, I love your blog. And second I have a long long list of this for this season. I am just about finished with my new advent calander and then on the christmas presents. Sleeping bags for the girls and marshmallow guns for the boys.
I will be making aprons for my girls, and a quilt for my boy. I have a lot of work to do!
Congratulations on being published:) VERY exciting! This year, after craft fairs are outta the way, Im focusing on making as many handmade gifts as I can possibly create. That'll include handbags for some, aprons for others and I need to come up with a great party favor idea for a couples Christmas party & sing-a-long we're hosting this year. Ive got so much sewing to do, so little time!:)

wow! what a great book and a wonderful giove-away... i have that book on my wishlist....
Great project. Earlier this year I made 3 dolly carriers for gifts (birthday & Christmas) from a pattern in a local Australian magazine. They looked soo cute with co-ordinating mattresses, pillows & quilts. This Christmas I am attempting to make some table runners from charm packs. I have the tops done. Then I want 2 make 2 handbags. Oh and some stockings that have been waiting ever so patiently in the cupboard for a Christmas or two now.
Hooray for the publish! And the book looks so good, I really hope, I am the lucky one! :-)
This holiday sesaon will be dominated by patchwork - I have a plan for a christmas tree skirt in all the reds and greens, I can get my hands on!
I want to make a tablerunner for me and my Mom ( I promised her to make her one, last year). I also want to make 2 charityquilts for 2 organisations. I'm organizing a dreamquiltday in Januari. So I have to make some.
I haven't seen this book yet..hmm looks interesting..
I will be working on a full size quilt blanket... it's about to be my BIG project... :)
This book looks great!
Thanks for the generous giveaway!!! :)
I would love to win the book! I've heard about it, but haven't sen it in person yet. My projects for the holidays include 2 quilts. One is a big one, so I', keeping busy! Thanks for the great giveaway.
Congrats to you! what a cute project! I am buried in Christmas projects, pj pants for the nieces, crocheted slippers, wool felt candle mats, holiday tote bags... you name it! Would love to win the book, as you can see I don't have enough ideas!

I'm going to be making a small quilt for my daughter and lots of bags. :)
YEAH! I really hope I win. I am decorating my house for the holidays. A lot of DIY decor and making a TON of baby items to attend 10 baby showers!

What fun that book looks like! I'm working on several gifts for Christmas this year...aprons, pin cushions and a tutu for my youngest granddaughter. Thank you for the chance to claim the book and congratulations on your wonderful publishing moment! That's HUGE!
That book looks awesome! I actually went to B&N the other day in hopes of getting one and they were all gone!
I'm currently working on a quilt for my son. I also have a reuseable lunch bag complete with snack bags to make for my sister and some pants for my hubby...along with a pile of fabric I'm still thinking about. It's going to be a busy holiday!!
Congratulations! I can't wait to see the book! This season, I am attempting my first quilt and also attempting to knit my first pair of socks! Thanks!
What a sweet little project! That would be a nice addition to my Christmas list.
This season I'm working on never ending curtains (new house) and baby doll clothes and felt playfood for Christmas. Oh and a little doll house from the book.
This year, my girl (three years old) will be decorating some linen with fabric markers to be made into coasters for all the grandmas and great-grandmas. I will also be making a couple of doll quilts and finishing up several knitting and crochet projects. Whew! I'd better get busy!
I reviewed this book, the the copy they sent me didn't have any of the patterns. =( I'd love to win this and see the extra patterns too.
This season, I'm going to make a candy cane countdown chart. My husband wants me to recreate the one he had as a kid. He has so many fond memories of it.
I want this book SOOOOOO BAD! When I was growing up, my mom had us make homemade decorations every other year for our Christmas tree. Now I'm married and told my husband that I wanted to that this year as well. We would make the garland out of strings of popcorn and construction paper chains. My mom taught us how to make snow flakes and little swirls that were always fun, but I am looking to do something a little different and possibly a little more elegant. :)
I have 50 crayon rolls to make for my sons pre-K class. Fun times :)
I made way too many gifts last holiday season so this year, just crayon rolls for the nieces and nephews!
Oooh, fabulous book! Congrats on being a part of it! I am so busy with so many things, I don't even know what all I am working on. Jammie pants for sure and snowman skirts. I'm sure there are plenty I'm forgetting!
I'm making pin cushions, stockings, fabric covered note boards and book marks. Lots of sewing in my holiday future and I'd love some new ideas too!
I'm working on quilted gifts (throws, playmat, mug covers etc) and clothing!
Want this book so bad!! This Christmas I am working on a few play items for my daughter, also a Christmas dress and PJ's. Purses for mom and mom in law and something small? for all the women in my life.
This year we will be doing some smaller projects that my 8yr old Daughter can help with. I am also making a "spa set" for one of my friends.
WOW!! Congrats on being able to be featured in such a neat book!! For Christmas I'm planning on making bags, felt ornaments, pillow cases and blankets!! I've got a lot to do!! Thank you for always keeping your blog so fresh and fun!! I look at it every day!!
I am so excited about this book! I am pretty much dying to have it but I told my husband and My mom that I wanted it for Christmas! Now I am not sure I can wait! All I know is that I am getting it either way!

Hi Meg! This is a very cool giveaway! I am stil working on some Xmas presents and I have plenty of nice fabric to do some blouses, skirts and dresses!
Awesome giveaway, congrats for being in the book! This holiday season I think I am making re-useable shopping bags for family and friends. It'll use up some fabric I already have!
How exciting about being in this book! I will be doing a lot of sewing, knitting, crocheting, and painting. I'll be making stuffed animals, scarfs, and blankets.I'm in college right now so money is very short so it is going to have to be a strictly homemade Christmas. I've got to make something for my boyfriend, 5 nieces, 3 brothers, 3 sisters, my parents, and my boyfriend's parents. This book would definitely come in handy because I'm in need of new ideas for some of these Christmas presents. I still want to be able to give nice personal Christmas presents without the hefty price. Thanks you so much for this opportunity and know that if you pick me this book will be put in use right away. God Bless.
Congratulations on having a project in the book! I will be working on several projects for my 5-yr old son, such as a quilt, puppets, and various toys.
The book sounds very exciting. This holidays season I'll be working on some doll clothes for my daughter, a quilt for my MIL, pj's for my son and not sure what for the hubby yet. And of course I want to make an apron for myself. Always good to have a "me" project.
Congratulations on being in the book! How exciting.
I have a big ol' list of things I am working on this holiday season: quilt, pencil rolls, black apple doll, patchy scarfs, quilted pillow cases, hotwheels cozy and if there is still time left: a multitasker tote for myself....
