In Bloom

The trees are all in Bloom around here unfortunately so are my allergies! But I did get some beautiful shots this weekend. We got to take the kids to the park this weekend and the weather was just beautiful!

I also went yard sale-ing this weekend and found a few fun things! I am a sucker for blown glass ornaments so I was very excited when I found this box full of glittery shiny loveliness!

On to sewing I am working on a few projects right now one is for the Trendy Textiles Bell Bottom launch with Jennifer Paganelli I am super excited about! Here is a peek at the fabrics I will be using for 1 design.

Almost Done!

Well I did get my new purse done! I thought it turned out super cute!I finally got my log cabin blocks sewn together now on to backing and binding oh and the whole quilting thing..... I will take more photos tomorrow in the sunshine!

So far I am please with the overall look!

It's about time........

Even though I sew everyday I am really really bad about making something for myself. I have been carrying the same purse (which is brown cord and so out of season now) around for about 6 months and thought it was about time for something new! I am using the beautiful fabrics from Jennifer Paganelli's Sis boom line. Here is a sneak peek! I hope to have it finished by tomorrow I am really excited to start carrying it!

Midwest Modern

I just love how my new pattern design turned out! This Convertible Tote can be carried 2 ways, and I made it with Amy B. new Midwest Modern fabric the colors are perfect for spring! I will be listing it on ebay very soon!

Pretty Package

I got this pretty package from Pinks & Needles ( a little something for myself) I am simply amazed at the detail on each pin topper and the fact she does it all by hand! If you have not already, stop by her etsy shop and take a look!

Whoo Hoo!

I finally got this custom order finished I think it turned out really pretty! Lots of work and 2 1/2yds of fabric with 12 interior pockets! Hopefully the customer will be happy.

Now on to play with that new stack of fabric!!!!!!!

Pretty Petals

I finally got to make the Wild Flower Pins Cushion, a pattern from Anna Maria Horner in the Spring 08 issue of Quilts and More. I simply LOVE how it turned out. I will definately be making more of these!

I ordered a bundle of new fabrics this week and I sketched a few new patters I can't wait to try!
